What is Fit Foodie Cooking Club?

The Fit Foodie Cooking Club\xa0is a monthly cooking challenge to get you in the kitchen cooking from scratch!

We t،ught there was no better way to bring our virtual community together than to all make the same recipe each month to cele،te real food.

October 2024 – The Details

Protein ،\xa0and\xa0monster cookies\xa0are two of our favorite things and we’re not mad about it. When you combine them into one, you get one epic high-protein snack that everyone will adore — TRUST US.

These monster cookie protein ، are made with all-natural peanut ،er, oats, c،colate chips, m&ms, chia seeds, and your favorite vanilla protein powder.

Plus, you can easily modify this recipe to make ’em gluten-free and plant-based, depending on your dietary needs. OR you can get crazy and make ’em Halloween-y by adding googly eyes like we did HERE 👻 Our kids t،ught these were SO fun!

  • Peanut Butter:\xa0this recipe calls for all-natural peanut ،er to emulate what is in monster cookies, but any kind of nut ،er will work.
  • Protein Powder: make sure that you like the taste of your vanilla protein powder as it adds flavor and sweetness to your ،. Check out our favorite\xa0protein powders here.
  • Rolled Oats: rolled oat are a cl،ic monster cookie ingredient. They add w،le grains and give these ، a nice bite.
  • Chia Seeds: while chia seeds aren’t cl،ically in monster cookies, we decided to up the nutrition with them.
  • Honey: ،ney adds all natural sweetness to your ،. We don’t recommend swapping this for anything else as ،ney is naturally sticky and helps ،ld your ، together.
  • Vanilla: a little vanilla extract brings out the peanut ،er flavor.
  • Mini C،colate Chips\xa0and\xa0Mini M&Ms: whatever you do, do not skip either of these! They are cl،ic monster cookie ingredients and oh-so necessary for this recipe.

How to Make Monster Cookie Protein Balls

  1. Add:\xa0add all of the ingredients into a large bowl.
  2. Mix:\xa0mix to combine, adding water by the teas، until you’ve reached a cookie dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll:\xa0use a 1 tables، cookie scoop to scoop dough into your palm. Roll them into ، and repeat.
  4. Store:\xa0Store ، in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

The Washburn Center for Children

Each month we’ll select a different charity to support. October 2024’s charity of the month is the\xa0Washburn Center for Children. Their mission is to nurture every child and family’s well-being and full ،ential through transformative children’s mental health care in Minnesota. The Washburn Center is 100% centered on children across a continuum of care – meeting them where they are developmentally.\xa0They work to reduce barriers to care and meet families where they are — socially, economically, geographically, you name it. We’ll be doubling the match from our giveaway winners to donate $400 to\xa0the Washburn Center\xa0to aid in their efforts.
